Have you ever watched this? I adore watching the competition every year and hearing the stories of the athletes and what they have overcome or are competing for. So much strength and honor its dazzling.

I have watched this competition several times.  These guys display sheer gutsiness and courage and I cannot imagine what they must do to train for this competition.

One would think training for this type of thing would be just has hard as those who train for the Olympics. I could not begin to try and understand their dialy workouts to lead up to something like this.

This is probably the best and most exciting competition to watch.  I watch this competition each time, taping it if I have to work.  I enjoy it more than the Olympics.

This has to be the most physical competition out there.  To swim the distance and then have the strength to get on a bike and then you have to run for the finish line.  Me, personally, I couldn't swim the distance.

The athletes that compete in this are amazing. I would have to think that there is some sort of obsession or addiction to this type of event. The training for this must be outrageous and time consuming.

I have watched but I am sure I could never compete. This is one of those sports you know when your licked at it and do not even attempt it.

Unbelievably, as I was flicking the channels, I came across an ironman competition, and WHOA... a high school buddy was fighting. He was doing well! He was sorta geeky and
