Good Morning Folks! 20 years ago, I never thought I'd find myself on a sports forum, but here I am! I'm a sporty mother of two boys who both enjoy soccer (called football for some :)) and a husband who coaches it. I especially became interested in it professionally when David Beckham came to the United States. Feel free to tease me all you want on that! My oldest son is now interested in Rugby and I know nothing about it. So... here I find myself on a Sunday morning!

Hello everyone!!

I'm not sure if there's anyone here from Canada at all (before I joined), but you can probably guess that I'm from Canada. I'm a CFL fan - and yes I do like the NFL as well (Cowboys mainly - I don't like the Bears hah).

Other sports I like well, I'm into video game competitions, I also like pool (billiards), ping pong, and table top games (some people have called them sports that I know.

When I asked why sports she said it was because some people out their feel stronger about their sports team than they do their God and it just wasn't safe territory.

Hello, everyone! I live on the East coast of the US. I love the water and wildlife here!

As you can tell by my username, I'm a tennis fan. I don't play as often as I used to, but I try and get in a couple of matches a couple times a month.
I've recently gotten interested in rugby also. A local league was started here about a year ago and I've really enjoyed the games I've been to.

I am a 'newbie' to this forum - it looks like fun, as I am a sports fan!

Since I'm from New England, I am - of course - a fan of the Patriots and Red Sox. I originally grew up within about 45 minutes of the NH International Speedway (in those days it was Bryar Motorsports Park) BUT ... I was NOT a race fan at the time!

At this point NOW, however, I have been a NASCAR fan for over 5 years - particularly a fan of Dale Jr. - as well as Mark Martin, especially now that he will be joining Hendrick next year, and be a teammate of Jr., Jeff, and Jimmie!

Hi, I'm really excited to be here which is something I never thought I would be saying about a sports forum. As a kid growing up, I used to argue with my uncle on Thanksgiving Day about having to watch sports. But in 2007 the Indianapolis Colts (american football) won the Superbowl and I've been a fan from that point on. Being an American and not very familiar with international sports, I'm probably going to ask a lot of "dumb" questions. I'm depending on those of you with more sports knowledge to help educate me. One graduated high school the other day and is hoping to play football in college; my other son has two more years of high school left. Both of them have played soccer, football, baseball and basketball. I am new here and a sports fanatic who just happens to be female. :D My first obsession was with baseball. I had my favorite team at the age of 4 and watched all of their televised games. I kept newspaper clippings I accumulated from all kinds of articles and put them in my scrapbook. In my scrapbook was a drawing of the baseball field my mom had drawn for me. All the players names were on the positions they played. I soon learned about each and every one of these players and what their STATS were and what they meant. Next would come basketball and then racing. I wonder how many other female sports fanatics are posting in here. I think I'll just take a look around.....

My name is Chris and I'm from the U.S. I am a very big sports fan and like a lot of sports including several that may not be the norm of folks around here. I really enjoy cricket when I'm able to watch it (usually on travel for work to London) as well as Sumo wrestling. I also enjoy a few U.S. sports such as Hockey, American Football and golf.
