There was an article posted on ESPNsoccernet this weekend regarding Inter Milan striker, Mario Balotelli, and his biological parents. Apparently, Balotelli was put up for adoption when he was three and, according to him, he has had absolutely no contact with them for the past 16 years. His biological parents appeared in the newspaper holding an Inter shirt and commented that they were "saddened" at being unable to be a part of his life.

Beckham going to Milan ...on loan

News has it that David Beckham, who is currently signed to the Los Angeles Galaxy, will be loaned to AC Milan at the end of the US Major League Soccer season. Beckham wants to use the opportunity to stay fit for the World Cup qualifiers.

Thats the news I caught earlier and it seems it might be a good idea, even though a move would mean more work to deal with maybe its best to let him stay and continue instead. Seems his agent had something to do with this, but was it intentional or not? ;)

Richard Hughes, midfielder for Portsmouth, is reportedly looking forward to their bout with Milan on November 27. According to TEAMtalk.com, Hughes was a Milan supporter as a boy.

Who are your favorites in the Seria A this season? I have always favored Palermo. However, Roma and Milan are also excellent teams. There are so many good players out there I don't know that I have a favorite player at this time.

It looked like Davide Ballardini might be headed to the Hammers. That was until today when Palermo announced that Ballardini would be replacing Stefano Colantuono as coach.
