It is now official.  The former Argentine star baller, Diego Maradona, will be the national coach of the Argentine team.  No doubt about it Maradona was an absolute magician with the ball when he played over 30 years ago but he has being dogged by health problems and drugs for quite a while.  Do you think he is a good choice?

Oh yes, this is a very good thing! I think that his reputation and his previous skills will be inspirational for the team-a very good choice all told.

I am not so sure it's a good idea.  I mean, he was a very good player but that doesn't make him a good coach.  He has not coached any team near this level and he has being away from the sport for quite a long time.  Anyway, let's see how it works out.

The majority of coaches start out as players and then move on. Yes he has had a break from the sport but I think he'll do fine.

Some people can learn and some people can teach but not every great person who could learn can end up teaching the same thing over again to someone else, they can only learn. I see many people that are hard to express instructions and I hope that is not the case here.

Some people make great leaders and some make great followers.  Few do both well.  Maradona was a great player and followed direction well.  Now we will find out if he is a good leader and if he can join the ranks of those who do both well.

Go, Colts!!

Exactly-now we find out. We cannot write the guy off already for he hasn't had the chance yet to prove himself. If he doesn't work out, someone else will replace him, I'm sure.

Well the guy should be feeling a little bit less pressured now after winning his first game as coach.  In his first game, Argentina beat Scotland, 1-0.  Let's see how he progresses.
