This Saturday, Aston Villa go up against Manchester United, and really, this could go to either of them. Man Utd is ahead by just one point, and they sit at 3rd with Villa in fourth in the league.

But the way they have played this year, Villa deserve to take it, don't you think?

As a girl who grew up in the Midlands and went to see the Villa play a few times, I would love this. Though I didn't, the family always supported Villa, it would be nice to see them take out Man Utd.

You know that one point deal is fully going to get the crowd local and overseas going, it has for a few of my buddies and we are all confused at how it will play out.

I'd have to agree that this could go either way. I think Villa and Man U are fairly well matched this season and both seem to be about the same level of performance. I'll have to root for Man U, though.

I'm supporting Villa too as the underdog, because I always like to follow the lesser team in a close match. Villa have at least been more consistent, compared to Man Utd being poor and then picking up.

In a surprise result, Villa and Man Utd drew this match, and it wasn't for want of trying. It was a real grudge deal for Villa, who have been beaten by Man Utd in the last twelve matches against them! This was the first point they have won against them since 2002, so even a draw must feel wonderful tonight.

It was a good game, I'm surprised that they didn't do better. I think that this is a positive thing for Villa-perhaps they can bring up the rest of the season in style.

I am sure there are those would wished for more but like you said its a good stance now compared to the last few years fighting with chances to win over again. I bet many have been celebrating this one.
