At least that's what midfielder Robert Pires is saying.  Although they came up best runner-up behind Real Madrid last season, Pires believes they can with the league this year.  Time will tell.

Many things will tell the story that they want to share now. Time, patiences, training - all of these things tie into how a team will really work in the end. Lets not forget the coaching either no team is worth a win without a good coach there to motivate them.

Yes, I would like to see Villarreal in the final round of the championship.  I think they have the talent and, yes, the coaching team to get them to the end.

They're good but I don't think that they have what it takes to take the league. Maybe next year, or the year after-but this year it will be FC Barcelona or Real Madrid I think.

I think the chances for this year are about 70/30, next year more like 90/10 but its also possible they could luck it and manage to make it all the way either of the two years but if they go in too cocky they will end up losing.

I don't think they even come close to a 70% chance of taking the league this year. I just don't consider them to be that strong-don't forget its a team member that said that, and he's not at all biased is he

You would hope that any team in the running has the potential of winning a championship. I mean, of course he should believe that they can win the league, otherwise what's the point of it all? It just sounds rather weak to me and ironically, it may even cost them their title this year. It's not how well they did last year that's going to count.

No, I don't think that any team in the running should have the potential to win. There are teams at the bottom of the league who may have only just achieved promotion-they are not much better than the league below them. There is a reason they are there, and not at the top, and thus, they are not capable of winning.
