I was playing soccer with my daughter this week and with her great grandfather (94 years old and playing soccer!) when he caught the ball. I couldn't help but thing back to the Maradonna incident-anyone remember it?

I do not recall the incident you are talking about but would love to hear more and hear why it ties in with that subject line. I just had to post how marvelous it is that a 94-year old great-grandfather is still out playing soccer! Just living to 94 is a wondrous thing, let alone being that healthy and active.

The incident in question had the player catch or knock the ball with his hand-which is against the rules. A goal was scored off the knock, and it wasn't penalised, therefore becoming known as the hand of God goal.

To me The Hand of God is evident in the fact that you have a 94-year-old grandfather and the fact that he can still play soccer with you and your daughter.
